Mickey's Philharmonic? Mission Space?

Has Mickey's Philharmonic opened yet? When is Mission space opening? I heard that somewhere that they where supposed to open this year but can't find them on the official disney site.

Philharmagic is unknown. Latest I have seen is just 2003. Who knows if that will even happen? Mabe Safari Steve can chime in here if he knows different.

Mission:Space soft opens on August 15th and the official grand opening/premiere party stuff is October 9.

PhilharMagic will open in October, to the best of my knowledge at this point. Keep in mind, this could change. But that's the latest thing I've seen/heard.

With a little bit of luck they will both be open when we are there in October. Will keep my fingers crossed!!!LOL!!!

Soft opening is usually when the ride opens unannounced for visitors to discover it and ride it so that if there are any kinks inthe system, they can be worked out before the official opening. Supposedly, during soft openings, the ride can close at anytime if need be.

It'll be interesting to see how this works with M:S since soft openings are not usually announced. This one was, which makes one wonder if a lot of testing has already been done and they are anticipating little if any problems.

Testing is going on right now with the CMs who will operate the attraction. Before they started, WDI was doing testing. Lots and lots of testing on Mission:Space cause they want to get it just right.

Any word on anything filling all the vacant stops in MGM? So much has closed and nothing new has gone in.
