I know the offical opening is in October - will there be a soft opening earlier for it? We are going 20-27 Sep and are hoping to see it!

TIA for any info!
Robin

from what I've seen posted at DIS some weeks ago I believe you might be in luck :)

There is an AP preview on Sept. 20 and 21. We plan to attend.

We live too far away to justify APs. sigh. (can you sneak us in? lol) I feel very lucky to get to FL once a year!

Maybe after the AP preview it will open for other park guests.

I'm there the same time you are, and I am hoping that after the AP preview, they'll open it to us mere mortals. Do you think if I sent an email begging, it would work?

disobsessed - I'll be wearing my lime green mickey head (from the paint section) with my user name on it - it would be fun to meet you!

Travelingal we live too far away too (not as far as you), but can always justify that AP. Mostly we just have extremely good timing lately. We were at WDW late July and they were having the AP preview for mission space, now we are going back for the Pin Celebration at EPCOT and again with the good timing. I'm wondering, like Mission Space, if they will have soft opennings on some days. We have non-AP holders going with us (but that won't stop us from going...tee hee).

I am hoping to see this as well...we will be there 10/3- 10/9 and although we will be in the MK on 10/9 (our last morning- sniff), I'm hoping to catch it when we are in the MK on 10/5. Both are early entry days- I wonder if it will be one of the attractions open at that time.

We'll get to WDW on the 21st, so I'm hoping we'll be in time to catch the passholder preview. I'm also hoping that the hours of the preview aren't limited or anything since we'll probably be getting there a couple hours before MK closes for the evening.

My parents, who do not have AP's, will join us the next day and I would be very nice to have a new attraction to take them to.

I always forget to get the lime green ribbons....I really should do that this time!
