Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to say how nice it is to come home after work and read what everyone has written in the last few days!!!!

Patty, please PM me your email address so I can send you the link to KodakGallery........I love the pics that are on your sig......You and Dale are such a nice couple and I hope that Mark and I follow in your footsteps and stay as much in love as you guys!!!!! And, have a Disney Cruise Line Vow Renewal too! :goodvibes

Corinna, I hope that you and Graham made it back safely to the UK!:goodvibes I wore my pretty necklace to work today and was complimented many times on how pretty it was. When asked where I got it I told them that a very talented friend made it for me as a gift on DCL. :) They were sad to find out they couldn't pick one up at Macy's. :snooty: ;) :)

We are safely back. The weather here was actually quite pleasant. Graham reset the vacation countdown on his Google home page and it is over 9000 hours. He is not happy. We are anxiously awaiting the announcement for the 2010 itinerary. If the rumours are correct we will have three different European itineraries to choose from.
By the way, if your colleagues want a necklace, I do take commissions. I have made a number for people where I work.

Corinna

Welcome back, Corinna! It looks like you will be sailing two weeks before us.

This is very unlike me, but I've already starting shopping for FE gifts. I was at the craft store and there were some items on sale that I know would make great FE stuffers. I just hope I don't lose track of them over the next year.

Still no trip report but here's a picture of one of the highlights of the cruise for us.

I had my first day back at work today and did not really like the idea. Being on an early, when my body clock is still on Eastern time did not help either. I came back to about 600 emails and loads of issues. Tomorrow I am on a middle shift and as of Thursday I am on the graveyeard shift so that should be better.

Corinna, I don't like you right now!!!! (only kidding) I've been back to work for an entire week!!!! I hope your body adjusts to that time change quickly so you can get back into the swing of things. Oh, btw, I have my neckace on AGAIN!!! I love it. Thanks for all the great goodies (the LUSH stuff) and the pin and the necklace!!!

I'll hopefully get some more of our TR done this evening.

I was wondering who gave us the Lush products. I remember all of us talking about it online but I couldn't remember who said what. Thanks, Corinna!

600 emails! Welcome back to the work world! I guess that's better than coming back to find someone else occupying your office.

I told you all that we wound up driving both ways to and from Florida. A week later the engine light on the van came on so I took it to the mechanic yesterday. The good news is it only has one problem and it's easy to fix. The bad news is the estimate to fix it is over $2000.00! :scared1: The van, a 1999, is the newer and healthier of our two cars, so I just can't wait (LOL) for the other shoe to drop. Warren's Honda is a 1994. I'm hoping this isn't God's way of telling us there will be no cruise next year.

Oh no Monica, sorry to hear of the car troubles. I guess 'luckily' Warren's car is a Honda, they usually last a LONG time!

Hey guys! I just spent the last two days scanning, uploading, and posting pictures to my TR. I just wanted to let you know in case you were interested in looking at them. :) My mother still wont give me custody of her camera to get the ones from her but I'm working on that. hehe

Dawn,

That is so wrong!!!! I wanna goooooo!!!! Those are some awesome deals (i'm sure they are cat 12, inside cabins) but wow. Of course any of us NON Floridians have to take on airfare too :sad2:

Tell you brother it's not nice to temp you and your friends.

Dawn, tell your brother that if he keeps it up all your Dis-Board friends:) will cruise on over to his house for a Disney style vacation.:cool1: He will wait on us hand and foot.

I am so glad I could share my pain. It gets better. Along with those rates was also a special to WDW. Value resorts for $49 a night AND free dining! It really sucks being poor! :sad1: Maybe next year. :confused3

Dale, that is really funny but I somehow don't see that happening. hehe

Not fair! I am an airliner too, but the only deals I can find are on RCCL and NCL. We are kind of considering a 5 night European itinerary for late spring next year using one of those deals.

Holy Cow!!!! Where can I sign up for the $49 a noc and the FREE dining!!

I know what you mean about being poor......I feel so poor after this trip, hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go....:rotfl:

As a side note, yes I'm feeling poor, BUT.....work is sending me to San Francisco in November for a conference (which is very, very rare for a floor RN, so I'm extremely lucky to be involved in a nationwide study type thing) SO....I decided to tag on 3 nights and have Mark fly out to meet me....my flight is paid for, I only had to pay $92 for Mark's flight, cause I had some credits on Southwest, I'm looking for a cheap hotel, I have a gift certificate for Rainforest Cafe for one noc's dinner, and hopefully we will eat cheap the rest of the time, or maybe one nice seafood dinner.......yes, we have no money, yes, we absolutely should not be going, BUT this is a chance to go to San Fran, somewhere we've never been, AND THIS IS A PARENT'S ONLY TRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    My Mom said she would watch the kids...okay I told her she would watch the kids, and she didn't say no!

Okay, so all my fabulous cruising friends please make me feel better and tell me yes, it's okay to go, and that I'm doing a great job by throwing money into the economy or something like that!!! :lmao:

Welcome to the club Karen. I thought Patty and i were the only members. We did take it a step further and joined DVC:banana: :cool1: :thumbsup2 . I guess i'll be delivering papers for atleast 10 more years.:scared1:

Never pass up an opportunity to travel I say! I have been to San Francisco once and it is a pretty neat place. Enjoy it while your there! And hey, they have McDonalds there for the 99 cent specials. Seriously, treat yourself while you can because who knows when you will get another opportunity like this one.

Karen,

wow, that's a great deal for Mark to be able to meet you there and spend a few days! And YES, you are good mom, and it's ok to go away without the kiddos once in a while. Like Dawn said, there is McD's there. I've never been to San Fran, it's on my list of many places I would like to get some day.

Who am I to judge, a trip to California (expenses paid) was thrown my way right BEFORE we went on the cruise and you bet I went!
