Ok, I changed my car rental (hubby doesn't know this yet, but he lurks here, so he may know before he gets home tonight, lol). We won't be taking our rental car to drop off. I got a cheaper deal to keep it the entire trip. We'll leave it at the Radisson and take the shuttle. Only problem...... there were no more spots on the 10 am shuttle. We are on the 10:30 shuttle.

Helpful information

If you are driving, pay attention to the last page, as they are ticketing people for stopping at the light with their tire over the white line!!!! And not a little ticket, it's $185!!!

Shirley's thread is amazing. I came very close to ordering gift baskets from her the first time we cruised. I even talked to her on the phone about it. In the end, I decided to skip it. I support what she does, and I may order a gift basket for Warren this cruise. He doesn't lurk here, so I feel safe saying so.

I didn't make the road trip in search of Lush or Ikea yesterday. We wound up at the local mall where I spent the money that would have been spent on LUSH and a pedicure for me on the boys' sneakers instead. They somehow (overnight it seems) grew out of the sneakers I swear I JUST bought a few months ago. There is a CVS in the mall, so I bought some Ultra Swimmer's shampoo. I think it works. No more tangly, sticky chlorine hair.

Good idea Monica, but I don't think the Radisson would be too thrilled to have to send someone after their van, lol. I know what you mean about the sneakers/shoes. Our youngest Tyler was a 'late bloomer'. As such a big baby we never thought he'd be small. In 9th & 10th grade he was one of the smallest kids in his entire high school (probably around 1000 kids). He grew from just over 8 inches in about 15 months. Talk about going through shoes!!!

I'm wondering, for future reference, what the rules are for Florida special rates. If a special rate became available, and my mom (who lives in Florida) booked a cruise for herself and my family, would the special rate apply to everyone she paid for in her party or just her. Anyone know?

I'm wondering, for future reference, what the rules are for Florida special rates. If a special rate became available, and my mom (who lives in Florida) booked a cruise for herself and my family, would the special rate apply to everyone she paid for in her party or just her. Anyone know?

I honestly don't know, but I think the discount would apply to her entire reservation (so if you reserved two cabins or one suite), that type of thing. Have you checked mouse savers. They usually list that type of things

My fish extender is going back to sender tomorrow to have the spelling error fixed. Tiffany has been wonderful about it. She gave me two options: returning the fish extender to her so that she could replace the offending pocket or she offered to send me an iron on patch with the correct spelling. I was worried that the second option would look weird and the patch might fall off in the end. As I still have nearly five weeks, I have opted to send the FE back to have the pocket replaced.

I spent some of the afternoon making a list for the FE gifts for our cruise and noticed I seem to me missing quite a bit of information. I have Thursday and Friday off this week and will head to a town that is a 2.5 hour train journey away to pick up some of the supplies. So if I could have the missing info by then, this would be greatly appreciated.

You have complied quite a list! If you want to know, Christopher's fav color is blue and chase's is green. We have no clue what John's is. Tiffany mispelled my mom's name also (carlean insteand of carleen) but I figured it didn't matter to much since we knew who she meant.

Yes, I am back (got in midnight last night) and I had an AWESOME trip!! I'll write more about that tonight when I get home and try to include some pictures.

I like Mickey Mouse. DD Samantha would be happy with any of the Princesses. DS Ryan's Fav color? I would say blue I guess. I don't know if he has one really but, you can't go wrong with blue. DH is not cruising with us. Just Me and the 2 kiddos.

I don't have a favorite color, it depends on what I'm coloring. Dh likes dark purple. His favorite character is the satyr Philoctetes or "Phil" from Hercules or any of the guy characters from Cars or Mr. Incredible.

I posted on the regular forum and got a lot of good information. Basically, the Floridian can book a room and everyone in his/her room gets the rate as long as she's paying for that room. If the party the Floridian is sailing with needs two room, then there has to be another Floridian booked in the second room. So, Grandmom can't book for 20 people from different states and get them all the discount. Interesting, huh.
