hello to all !!!

this is our second wdw vacation and were going from 10/31 to 11/7 we will be staying off property but are so in love w/ disney and all it has to offer....

just a few questions if you guys can help, much thanks

how much for the tix at mk for halloween event?

if someone has been to it, was it enjoyable?? any and all info please.

MNSSHP is a blast!!! :) You can use the search function to find tons of info and reports about it, and also info on allearsnet.com. We had so much fun, I would highly recommend it! :)

I believe the tickets were in the $30.00 price range and YES it was worth it - especially if you are a Halloween fan!! Make sure to see the parade in Liberty Square and get there early to hear the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. It is a hoot. Get there early (around 4:30) and ride the rides, so you won't have to deal with that during the party and you can just enjoy the special things like the parade and the haunted river ride, storytellers, etc....

ENJOY!

My family and I absolutely loved MNSSHP! We went 10/30/03 and it was great, crowded, but great. If I had to do it over, I'd go an earlier date, but we still loved it. I am so glad we got to experience this party and are looking forward to going to MVMCP next time!

we went on Oct 2002 and plan to go again this year. we all loved it --ages 2 yrs old to 60 Plus. Lots of fun for all. the kids loved getting candy and being dressed up--they also loved seeing the characters dressed up for halloween---Parade was great and we Loved the fireworks, we watched them from the main entrance and there was fog everywhere-definetly worth doingand soing again-have fun---I believe the tickets go on sale around May.

oh yeah i forgot to ask, if you have the ticket for the halloween party at mk. do you also have to pay for admission???

The MNSHHP tix are separate from the admission, but it is definitely worth it. We went two years ago, and it was the best disney night for me. All the creative costumes, and all the people getting into the spirit of Halloween was such a blast. I'm not a parade person, but even i LOVED the Halloween parade. LOVED it. Definitely go if you can. Not sure what time it starts, but they usually let you in fairly early, give you a plastic bracelet to wear (to identify you as a MNSSHP ticket holder), and direct you to stay in Tomorrowland until the official party start time. It's worth it, definitely do it!

Have fun! :wave2:

We were in WDW this past Oct. (Oct. 16-25) and had tickets for the MNSSHP on the 19th. We had so much fun that we ended up purchasing tickets to attend another party during our stay. The Sunday night was less crowded than the other night--not sure what day it was on. We rode lots of rides with minimal wait times, watched the storyteller tell the legend of Sleepy Hollow, and had prime location to see the headless horseman ride (sit right across from the Liberty Bell). One FYI- all of the resturants are not open for the party, so scope out whatever you plan to eat. We had a problem trying to find some dinner late one night. My kids are 5 and 8, so we just made it an early day on the day of the party--we went back to resort around lunch, had a good lunch, and rested for a while. We then headed back to MK around 4:30. Worked out great. We made it to midnight both times. Have fun---you'll love it.

Some of you said you can enter the MK early for the MNSSHP-around 4:30. Are you allowed to go on any rides at that time while you are there, even though you only entered with your Halloween Party adm. ticket?

njpixie, it looks like 10/31 might be your only night available, so hop on that phone when these tickets go on sale because this is the one night that ALWAYS sells out! Have fun! We plan to do the party Friday the 22nd.

You can ride on anything until 6pm and then everyone with a MNSSHP wristband is directed to Tomorrowland until MK is decorated for the party. You can get a lot done between 4:30 and 7pm!

Would anyone like to hazzard a guess what the dates will be for this year...apart from 31st Oct!!!?

Possibe dates based on previous years, but I think it will be less especially around Colombus Day:

Oct 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31

They may not start that early in the month and they may exclude some Suns, Tues, Thurs, Fri for whatever reason.

Here's a sample of previous years to help you figure it out and as you can see it really varied:

1998 = Oct 31 (first year)

1999 = Oct 28, 29, 31

2000 = Oct 3, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 27, 31 (could also have been on 22, 24, 26, and 29 but I found no proof of those dates)

2001 = Oct 18, 21, 26, 28, 31

2002 = Oct 11, 17, 20, 25, 27, 31 and Nov 1

2003 = Oct. 3, 5, 10, 14, 16, 19, 24, 26, 30, 31

beattyfamily, good guess!

Here's what "I've read" as the official "Unannounced" dates.

Oct. 1, 3, 8, 12, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29, 31

We plan to go to the one on the 22nd. Haven't seen a Nov. calendar yet to know if there is or is not one on the first.
