Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween

Hi all,

Is this event more for kids? What exactly goes on? Are all of the park rides open? Thanks for any advise on this!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my personal favorite hard-ticket event!
Special entertainment includes: Fortune Tellers, DJs, Story Tellers, Kids' Costume Contests, and a parade that you can only see during the event.
Other fun stuff: Free Family photos, Candy for everyone, Characters wearing their own halloween costumes.
Not all attractions are open, but most are (Swiss Family Treehouse, Tom Sawyer Island, Hall of Presidents, Tiki Room have been closed in the past).
Loads of fun and well worth the price.
We'll be doing more this year than ever before!
Costumes that are gory or offensive should be avoided (and admission can/will be refused), also adult costumes should not be too similar to Disney Characters (if you show up looking *Exactly* like Cinderella, you will probably be asked to change.)

When we went Halloween night last year, there were many costumes that 'seemed' exact to me! My DD 3 kept thinking they were real too and wanted to go hug Cinderella few times. There were some VERY good Fairy God Mothers running around.

My DH dressed as the Beast but the face part was open showing my DH's face and still many children got excited and said "there's the Beast!".

I guess it's to be expected that it will happen and hard to avoid!

I have no way of knowing where I will be during the events.
I probably won't be at Mansion or Jungle Cruise or Turnstiles.
