Does this event run the whole month of October........???
How much are tickets???
is it worth it for a child in a wheelchair?

I did MNSSHP for the first time last October. Dates that it is held in October usually come out toward the end of April.

If I remember correctly, they were held Sun, Tues and Fri nights and then of course Halloween. That dates were as early as the first week of October.

I don't remember correctly but I think advanced adult tickets were around $25.00. That counts as your admission too. Even thought the 'party' starts officially at 7, people were being let in as early as 4 pm with just a MNSSHP ticket.

I would say it is worth it for everybody- in or out of a wheelchair. The park is all themed out for Halloween- the characters even have Halloween costumes. There is a special parade- mostly Villians and a special Fireworks display. Both were very cool.

We went on a Sunday night. The Friday nights and of course Halloween night are said to be more crowded. We walked on to most rides (most of them were open). There are also 'Trick or Treating' stations so you can get candy.

It was great fun.

I highly recommend the Halloween Party! It was a BLAST! We went on a Sunday night and while it was busy it didn't seem crowded. We walked on to every ride with little or no wait. Main Street looked AWESOME with all the ligths and flying Mickey bats and witches! There was music being piped in, trick-or-treating, and you get your picture taken!

Little tip - when we were there, the only sit down restaurant open was Liberty Tavern, if you want to sit down and eat MAKE A PROIRITY RESERVATION ahead of time!

I know everyone else really enjoys this event, but I have to say that MNSHHP was the absolute worst part of our 2000 WDW trip. I made the mistake of going to the one on Halloween and it was just awful. Wall to wall people, you could barely move. Grown adults were cutting in front of the candy lines right in front of little kids. I had thought there would be a smaller amount of people--but the parks were pretty empty during the rest of our trip. In my opinion, it was a total waste of money.

My DD and I did enjoy dressing up--we were witches! And looking at everyone's costumes was fun. I'm trying not to discourage anyone by pointing out the fun parts! ;)

You might enjoy it--just don't go on Oct 31!

Halloween is the only time my family an I have gone so far, and we loooooove the MNSSHP, but definitelyfollow NMAmy's advice and do not go on Halloween Night....extremely crowded. Last year was the first year that we went on halloween and totally regretted it, but we still love the party, and the kids loved the trick-or-treating. Great for any kid...wheelchair or not!!!

MNSSHP is TOTALLY worth it.2004 will be our 10th MNSSHP!!The parties that are not right at Halloween are very manageble.

In 2003 the parties were on Sundays,Fridays with one on a Tues and one Thur mid month. There were a total of 10 MNSSHP during the month of Oct 2003.

My guess ...remember it's just a GUESS at this point ...that the first MNSSHP for 2004 will be on Friday Oct 1st.

2003 the first party was Oct 3rd the first Friday in Oct.This year,2004 Oct 1st is the first Friday in Oct. so that's why that night is my GUESS!

TICKETS.... prices from 2003 were:

At the Gate... Adult... $32.95 Children (3-9) $27.95

In Advance...Adult... $29.95 Children (3-9) $24.95

Y'all will LOVE the party!!!

Now how LONG is it until Oct?!?!?!?LOL!
