Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Is there a difference, besides the price, between DVC and Non DVC Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? For example, availability of rides, parties, candy, parade etc?

It is only a price difference. A DVC discount is available for some, but not all, of the party nights.

The nights they choose not to allow the discount they expect to sell out or come close to selling out without it- so nights with it have a chance of being less crowded.

The discount isn't anything spectacular either. I think we saved $3 a person, maybe. Don't get me worng, I'll take what I can get. MNSSHP is our favorite hard ticket event at MK. We found it to be far better than MVMCP. The trick or treating was insanity. By the end of the night we were geting fist fulls of candy if we went through a line. There were 6 of us who went last year - only one child. So, we had bags we weren't using. My dad decided on the way out to go through a line because we were walking right by and no one was there. He pulled out his folded up empty bag and they filled it.

Anyway, love the parade, love the special fireworks, love the HM music all night. It's a great event.

We will be going next month for the first time, during the event should we bring autograph books or is it so busy that they do not do the signing at the event.

Where can I go to see which dates offer a discount for the party? I tried searching on the DVC website but it kept coming up "Not Found". Also, what is the discounted price? Thank you

Yes no difference just a few bucks off although I did not realize they only gave it certain nights I saw a bunch of dates missing and rushed to buy my night since I thought a bunch were sold out.

Or you can find that many opted to choose a night that had a discount and it will be very crowded.

I would double-check with a call to MS. Several of the dates listed on the site are nights when there is not a party scheduled. There is no party scheduled on September 28th or 30th. There is also no party scheduled on October 5th, 7th, 14th, and 19th.

Mistakes on a Disney website?! Never...

not only are the dates wrong but the prices are too-it is a $4-5 discount per ticket (earlier parties get $5) for the nights it is avail. If you log into the Disney website as long as your Disney account has the AP or DVC designation linked to it you can see the discounted price and buy it right online.

I just was on DVC member website and realized why all that info posted above (from the DVC website) is wrong. That is info the Disneyland parties not the Disney world ones
