This is our third time in three years and again had a great time! Such a great atmosphere.

You can access Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 pm even though the printed start time is 7:00 pm. We probably got to the park around 5:45.

Luckily, we made the kids nap in the afternoon cuz they ended up closing the park! I couldn't believe they were still active at midnight.

Seriously, if you want to do Magic Kingdom in a compressed time, you have to do it on one of the party nights. Little or no waits on any of the rides - 10 minutes max. We did a majority of the rides, had a bite to eat, watched the parade, watched the fireworks and then went on more rides. Trick or treating in between.

Just to give you an idea of all the stuff we did while we were there:

1. Aladdin's carpet ride.
2. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
3. Jungle Cruise.
4. Pirates of the Carribbean.
5. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
6. Haunted Mansion.
7. It's a Small World.
8. Halloween Parade.
9. Spooktacular Fireworks.
10. Horse Carousel.
11. Tomorrowland Transit train ride.
12. Tomorrowland Indy (twice).
13. Buzz Lightyear Spin.
14. Dancing with Chip n Dale.
15. Trick or treating.

And we weren't even rushing!

For those who haven't been to the MNSSHP, I really recommend it! :thumbsup2

What night were you there? We just got back yesterday, and did MNSSHP on Friday, Oct. 7. The crowds were not bad -- and then thinned out nicely once the rain started to fall partway through the evening. We just pulled on the ponchos and kept going. We caught a couple of villains for photos (the show was cancelled because of the rain), but didn't do many characters. We walked on every ride, and DD got a huge haul of candy.

Agree with you -- all in all, a great time. The worst lines we had all weekend were at security at Pearson airport!

We have been a few times and it is one of my favorite Disney things. Can't wait to go back again in a few years for DD 10th Birthday.

It is getting more $$

We were there Oct 11th and had a blast! My daughters fave part was that she got pictures and was able to meet 4 of the villains that she wanted to meet. The fireworks was fantastic and we were seated right infront of the castle with perfect viewing. We caught the second parade and loved it. We rode Thunder Mountain in the dark for the first time ever and it was unbelivable. We walked on rides and meet other characters and did a bit of trick or treating. This was our second MNSSHP and I would do it again in a heartbeat BUT I did find it ALOT more crowded than the first time 2 years ago!

This may be good if you plan on buying a single ticket for a single day, but is a rip off if you have a ticket package that expires or even worst, you are an annual passholder. I went on Halloween night, big mistake, 22,000 people were let in. I paid $300 for 4 people to get in and it was not worth it. I don't care how nice the parade was. I could have bought a wheel barrel full of candy for $300 dollars. I had something different in mind. The candy lines were long, the crowds were hard to navigate through, and not everything was open. If you insist on wasting the money, do not go on halloween night. Go on one of the nights before halloween.
