:) What time can you get in to the park with just a "party" ticket? Can you ride on attractions at that time? Does the park stay open later than the "party"? Any help would be great.

We got in at 5:30, but others have gotten in earlier. The park and the party promptly ended/closed at midnight.

I thought the party began at 7:00pm...??? What time should we arrive at the gate?

Any info would be appreciated. We are scheduled to leave early in the AM tomorrow and plan to attend the party Monday evening.

Most have told me that you can arrive as early as 4pm - we have a crystal palace ressie at 4:45pm so i hope that is true

Subscribing since I am curious toooo !!!!!!!

Did you mention that you will be attending the MNSSHP? I would call just to be sure. However, from what I read on another thread, others mentioned getting in earlier than the party begins.
I'm hoping to change the time of our dinner reservations so that we can arrive sooner.

I believe they want let you in until shortly before 7:00 with only the party ticket. But if you have regular tickets to the magic kingdom you can stay in the park and not have to leave. They just send everyone to one part of the park.

Thank you for that piece of information. We may go early w/ PH tickets.

Thanks princess:

We went 2yrs ago and we had ressies at Crystal Palace so they let us in early. After we were sent to Tomorrowland till 7pm. We closed the park down and didn't get out of the till after midnight! We are going again this year on the 20th!

When we went a few years ago, we got in at 4:00 PM with just our MNSSHP tickets. I don't know if that policy has changed or not, as it was mentioned in another thread that the regular guests aren't being made to leave before the party starts now.

We went on 9/29 and were told to that we could enter beginning at 4pm. We actually entered at 4:30pm due to a bus SNAFU (45 min wait at POR East Depot, only issue all week, apparently the bus filled up at the South depot and did not call it in to send an additional bus to the other depots). We were able to make our ADR at Crystal Palace about 5:05pm as we checked in at 4:55pm. Awesome meal, awsome party. The Villain mix and mingle is a show put on by the villians in front of the castle after which they come down for autographs and pictures (it is a good 15 min show and quite enjoyable => not scary). Also I should point out that the Adventureland treat trail is air conditioned and at least 3 areas are set up for character encounters, much nicer than the Alice treat trail IMO which went on the outside of the indy speedway (Alice, Mad hatter, Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum , Queen of hearts left for Villians show just before we got there). At Adventureland on the treat line we got pictures with Timon, Orangatang from Jungle Book, Rafiki, Jane and Tarzan (there was an option to bypass the characters and go candy only). Also we did this line during the second parade so no waiting, in fact to get Timon we did the line twice and just walked through the whole thing again) We had a blast did all the above, plus free face painting for my wife and daughter, saw the first parade from the top of the circle on Main Street square, Stitchs Dance Party, and the fire works by Dumbo, and were there from 4:30 to 11 and I was told that it was sold out at 20,000 people. Fun, Fun Fun, more fun than I thought we would have and we did absolutely no rides.

Yall got me wanting to go! :( i have went for the past few years but this year my dds' have cheerleading the whole month of October... Hope everyone has fun... this party is the best! a little tip, dont worry about getting lots of candy. go to toon town at close to its closing time and they will give you bags of candy. last year we left with 8 bags of candy. we are still eating it.... LOL

I am curious if you can hear the sound like they normally do for Wishes, where it is piped in since you have good views there to see. Thanks!

We went on 9/22. We did not go early, as we had MGM during the day with the character lunch, and we went back to the room for the kids to rest, (they did not!) We should have gone early. The lines to enter were very long at 7pm. We didn't get in until 7:30. We stayed until midnight, then went back to toontown to purchase our pictures. They were open a little later than 12. The photopass people were around on the streets later too. We got more pictures taken on mainstreet and out front much later than 12. The man who was walking us out of toontown said that the castmembers on mainstreet would be there later than 12 because they arrived at 8. (maybe that's how the shifts went?) We couldn't get a soda until we left the park at that little store off to your left. The trams said they were running until 2am. We must have been leaving around 1:30am or so, because we drove from MK to POP, and arrived back at our room at 2:13am. DD loved telling people that she went to bed at 2AM!!!! (she fell asleep on the ride back to the hotel, but got to see 2am at the hotel!) We were in the park on 9/29, and saw plenty of wristbands by 4:30 or so. Hope this helps.... oh, and go with a plan of attack. We didn't get to 1/10th of the party by the time we ran from trick or treat, to dinner, to the fireworks, to the parade (only saw the second one)..... go with a plan, we did not, and was VERY disappointed in how much we got to see. (didn't get one pic with any character, didn't even see any, except in parade)

we went on 9/22 - got in around 4:15PM with just our halloween tickets - they were giving out treat bags already. PARTY WAS WONDERFUL!!! both my children (1yr old and 4 1/2 year old) had a blast!! would do it again in a heart beat - there is so much to do and see - it is hard to get it all done -
we saw the first parade, saw characters, saw the fire works and headed out around 10:30 PM -
what a great time
if you have any questions PM me and i will try to answer them

Last year we went with just the party tickets. We got in at 4 and sat down at Cosmic Rays because we were told the party started in tomorrowland. But it started in adventure land and we waited quite a while at the rope. But when the rope went down, we got to walk on all the rides. One to the other. It was incredible. I don't remember what time it was. The later it got, the thicker the crowds got. We were too tired to stay till midnight, but we did the whole park in that short time.

I am a bit confused....Do you need MYW, PH, or MNNSHP to enter if you have a dinner reservation?

It sounds like many people are getting into the MNNSHP around 4p with dinner reservations, but could you just have dinner ressies, without the MNNSHP ticket or MYW ticket??

It sounds like if you don't plan on using one of your days, but have the MNSSHP ticket, you can get into the park 3 hours earlier?? OR do you need a dining reservation?

BY the way, where would be the best dinner ressie to get? Liberty Tree, Tony's, Crystal Palace? Any others?
Will be traveling with DD3 and DD1

Us people from CT need to stick together!!! :goodvibes
The first parade is at 8:15 then again at 10:30.
We got there early - around 4
since it was our first day at the park my 4 1?2 year old wanted to do a few rides in tommorow land. then around 6:30 we headed over to toon town and saw the characters over there (alice and the mad hatters treat party). then we stopped in front of the castle to watch the villains show 7:45 - very cute - wished i stayed to get the autographs but i got nervous that i wouldnt get a good spot for the parade. We got a spot right over the bridge near liberty square. this was a good spot becuase this parade starts in frontierland - so after it passed us - we headed over to fantasyland and wiated about 15 to get our picture with cinderellas carriage. We walked arond to see what other characters we could see. Our plan was to head out before the fireworks becuase we didnt want to burn the kids out on thier first night. Plus we had been up since 4:30 am to get to the airport. but we ran into the fireworks right in front of the castle. so we stood and watched. THEY WERE GREAT!! DONT MISS THEM!!!! They are at 9:30. The baby even loved them - he tried to pull them out of the sky! At no time were either of the boys scared. They had a great time. After fireworks we headed to the front of the park. Had our picture taken with the big mickey ghost and went to catch the bus. The only thing i wish we got to do was see all the 7 dwarfts and get more autographs with the villians. The baby did so well. He stayed up right until we went through the gate to leave (around 10:00) What a great party. Glad to have my own double stroller. It was so helpful all week. You need it to get to and from the bus, around the resort, in downtown disney. It is worth the hassle of getting it on and off the bus. Plus mine has a basket underneigh to store the diaper bag, pal mickey, camara, water, spray fan, sun screan and all the other stuff you cant live without.
hope this helps :wave2:
