Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central!

I'm maybe missing the answer to "what goodies do they give out at the party?", but I assume it's all candy?

What time can you go get your wristband? Where do you get it?
We are eating dinner at LTT at 5:45, and obviously want to get our wristbands first.

Thanks,
Pyedog

We have received conflicting information about dinner reservations at LTT. When we bought our tickets for MNSSHP, I also tried to get some priority seatings during the length of our vacation. Some I could get, and some I needed to wait until 60 days before. I tried to get PS for LTT for MNSSHP but the CM told me that I had to wait until 60 days prior. When I called today, another CM told me that that was wrong and now they don't have any PS available for that night. (No other restaurants in MK are open during MNSSHP). She did say that we could try 60 days prior because there is PS available at the 60-day mark but I don't understand why they would do that since the only guests allowed in the park (and therefore have access to the restaurant) are people who bought tickets to MNSSHP.

Can anyone clarify?

We confirmed today that we will be at WDW from Oct 4-Oct. 8 with our three neices ages 12, 12, and 11. Is it too late to buy tickets for MNSSHP for the 5th? We would like to treat them to this experience as well as ourselves. Does MNSSHP ever sell out this early in the month?

Thanks

To Minnie Mi, I had a hard time getting PS to LTT also. I had to call 3 times. The 1st 2 times I was told that it was too early to request a PS for October. When I called the 3rd time, the earliest I could get was for after 7:30.When I question it, she said that I could have called earlier, and apologized for the misinformation the 1st & 2nd times. Keep trying, because someone might cancel, and even that night, I think that you have to be on time or you lose your PS's. That happened to us one time at the Sci Fi . We got caught in a traffic flow of people, and were more than 10 minutes late and lost our PS>

:earsboy: WELCOME to the DIS Minnie Mi!!! :earsboy:

Pyedog...Trick Treat candy we've gotten at past MNSSHP are Nestle Crunch bars,M &Ms,Reese Cups,Twizzlers,Willy Wonka and my boys say "all kinds of other things!!"

What time can you go get your wristband? Where do you get it? We are eating dinner at LTT at 5:45, and obviously want to get our wristbands first. I talked to WDW today and the girl I spoke to told me you would go to Guest Relations when entering the park to get your wristbands.

I also asked her if you're in the MK visiting and will be staying with tickets for MNSSHP what do you do about getting your wristbands? She told me there will be various areas set up in the park where you can show your ticket and get your wristband put on and then they will tell you where to go to wait for the"official" start time of MNSSHP.

PS at LTT when can they be made? Usually the PS time is 60 days out on LTT but for MNSSHP ticket holders can make them earlier. They do a special deal for the Parties. As a 'perk' for buying the party tickets in advance, they can book their PS's for restaurants inside the park earlier than normal

It's not a well publicized perk though - infact, in true Disney style some of the time the CM's taking the PS's don't know about it either.

MycatlovesEeyore...I'd order tickets now.MNSSHP seems to be getting more and more popular each year!

My family will be checking in on Saturday, Oct 25th and have narrowed down our party night to Sunday, the 26th or Thursday, the 30th. Looking for opinions - Which night would be better as far as crowds. I know there's a limited number of tickets sold, but I was wondering if one night would be better than the other.

Both days seem good going on the idea that the following day is a school day for the local kids. Personally, I think th 26th would be better. I'm guessing the closer to halloween the greater the chance all the tickets will be sold.

:earsboy:WELCOME to the DIS L&MsMom:earsboy:

I think Oct 26th would be the best day...the 30th being the night before Halloween could be quite crowded!

We will be going to MNSSHP on the 3rd. We have PS for LTT at 7:25pm...this was the earliest we could get. I was wondering if this was a bad time to get. We dont want to miss the parade or the fireworks. Is there a certain time the parade and fireworks start?

Thanks

Yes they are transferable.

We went on 10/31 a couple of years ago and I swore I would never do it again on that night it was so crowded. However, I am a glutton for punishment and i will be there this year  lol My kids are older and no longer require a stroller so it will be easier to manuver about the streets. We went to the late parade last year and it was awesome! The place empties out after the first parade or after the show at the castle and you have the park to yourself practically. My dh took the boys back early (didn't even stay for the parade because of the crowds) but me the dd's and dmil stayed and had a GREAT time!

The good thing is if you are going for the rides then there is NO problem the wait wasn't that long (with the exception of the HM of course, lol), but the street festivities were nearly impossible to get to. This year we will do all the rides first and when the first parade is over we will then do all the festivities!

If I had really young ones, I would go on a different night. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Hello disney folks-

I bought MMNSSHP tickets for 10/10- five adults and two children. I purchased them the first day they were up for sale. I was so looking forward to going then my darling sil decided that November would be better for her family (even after I reminded her that I had already purchased the non-refundable tickets). So.... I have already sold four adult tickets therefore I have FOR SALE 1 ADULT AND 2 CHILDREN FOR FRIDAY 10/10.

If anyone is interested, please e-mail me. I would be selling them for the same price I was charged and I wouldn't charge shipping and handling. The cost can be paid through pay-pal or with a certified check.

I wish I was going. My DH promised me that next year we could do it instead :p He's the BEST!

Magical wishes to everyone ;)

HurricaneWarning....This was posted a few pages back but here ya go again!:)

There are 2 MNSSHP parades. They run at 8:30pm and another at 10:30pm.About 10 minutes prior to parade time is when the Headless Horseman makes his ride down the parade route.

Halloween Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks is a 9:15pm.Be sure to get a good view of Cindy's Castle because you never know who might be flying overhead!

I have read all the replies in this post and see everyone (including me) that have made PS for dinner have made them at LTT what about CP? Is LTT the one char dining open on the MNNSHP night?

Thanks

to Hurricane Warning...I asked that question to WDW DINE and was told that only LTT will be open after 5 during MNSSHP.

Does anyone know when tickets for the 10/31 MNSSHP sold out in prior years?

And - I'm sure I could find this somewhere else on this discussion site - what restaurant is LTT?

As always - thanks for the help!

LTT is Liberty Tree Tavern. If that is the only place after 5pm, what about counter service????
