Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

Just have a quick question. I'm not sure if anyone will know or not but we may not be able to make it to Florida on Monday due to Jeanne and we have tickets for the MHSSHP on Oct. 1st. Does anyone think that if we had to reschedule to the next week if Disney would allow us to switch tickets??? Or is the money for these tickets lost???

Thanks to anyone who can help

I'm really stressing out because of Jeanne!!!!! :(

Thanks again

Tracey

Exp.626Stitch, I'd give them a call. If they aren't sold out for another night, I'd think they'd be willing to switch them for you. It couldn't hurt to ask!

Does anyone know where the photo sites will be set up? Last year we had it taken by IASW! Also, what time do they start? We will be eating at LTT @5:45 and was wondering if we could get the photo done right after dinner? Any ideas? TIA!

This is our 4th time at the MNSSHP and I had no idea about getting in early. We have tickets for the 17th and would really like to know if anyone who is going earlier in the month comes across any problems with entering between 4 and 7. I would really like to go a little early since in the past we have gone about 6:30 and it was crazy but don't want to make the earlier trip (especially with a one year old) if we can't get in. Can't wait to hear!

First, I have never been to MNSSHP before so I am no expert. However, when I called to make LTT reservations, the CM told me that there was no way to get in early like that. I told him about these boards and that people have absolutely done it in years past...etc. He doubted me, gave me my reservation, and we hung up. About 15 minutes later, he called back! He apologized and said that he checked into it and yes, indeed we could DEFINITELY get in early! All we needed was (according to him) a PS number and the MNSSHP tix. I hope that relieves some stress -- trust me I know that feeling!

Second, howdy neighbor! I live in Chesterfield Township!

Do they sell Halloween Mouse ears or Tigger ears or things like that at WDW?? Would love to have something before we depart (MNSSHP on 10?29), but wondering if we can get something there if we have to?

thanks!!

They sell headband style Tigger ears, Mickey Ears and Minnie Ears. In fact, I have taken "orders" for our MNSSHP trip for more Tigger ears. They look cute with our Cincinnati Bengals outfits at the games!!!!

They also sell the traditional mouse ears like the original Mickey Mouse Club wore.

Thanks...but what I'm really curious about is if they have Halloween themed ears...
Seems like at Christmas there are Mickey ears with a Santa hat, etc. ...something along those lines.

Also...on another note....do people ever dress scary for the MNSSHP? Like scary witches or creepy crawly type things....since it's supposed to be "Not So Scary" ya know...

There are usually 3: IASW, HOP and near Buzz.

For me, they would not let me get my picture taken until exactly 7:00p and no earlier.

HOP?

I know when we had our MVMCP picture done it was in back by Adventureland? Frontierland?

Yes, there's been one by Hall of Presidents, very convenient to LTT, for all th parties I've been to.

I looked at a map and only saw 3; HOP, ISWA and near Buzz, of course it can change from year to year.

Last year they definitely had one in Adventureland. It was in the building behind Aloha Isle. I don't recall where the others were.

Here's a link to the 2003 MNSSHP MAP. I finally can see the forth one!

I've only actually seen 3 locations myself. I've had my picture taken at HOP and IASW but not at Buzz because it was just way too crowded.

We'll see what's up for this year very soon!! I can't believe people will be going to the party in only a week!!!!! I hope everyone reports back their experiences!!

Hey guys,
I read another thread about people shipping stuff to themselves at their hotels in advance of their trips so they don't have to pack them. I was thinking about shipping our Halloween costumes because although they are lightweight they are cumbersome, especially DS's hat which will need to be stuffed to prevent it from being crushed. Has anyone does this before? Or better yet, has anyone done this before and the hotel lost their package?

My mom ships her costume every year. And then when she's done with the party she ships it home. She's never had a problem. She also ships her dirty laundry home to make room for souvenirs in her suitcase. I LOVE that.....usually the souvenirs are for ME!!!!

This might be on this thread somewhere but I can't search right now...

We can do the party either Friday 10/22 or Sunday 10/24. Will Friday be much more crowded? That is our preferred night, but we'd rather go on a less crowded night.

thanks for your help, it's our first time at MNSSHP!

First of all, I am new here! This is a GREAT Board!
We are going to WDW in 12 days!!!! I think I am more excited than the kids! We are also going to the Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was very nice to read all of your posts about this. I just can't wait!!!!!:earsgirl:
Looking forward to posting with you all!

I know the first year we went to the party we went on the 31st and it was great. As most people have said the crowds get smaller and smaller as the night progresses and the little ones poop out. But still we never found any long lines and really no lines at all except for things like Dumbo. Last year when we came we had tickets and for earlier in October (this year we are going the 17th) and I overheard several people at the hotel saying how upset they were that there were no tickets left to purchase - so if you know you are going make sure you buy your tickets. It would be a shame to get there and be all excited to go only to find out you can't. Also by pre-ordering you get a $3 per ticket discount.

21 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Dis.
What nite are you going to the party.

:earsgirl: I'm new to the boards, but been lurking for a long time. I've loved reading about the MNSSHP. My sister and I are going to be in WDW for our first trip 21-30th and have tickets for this event the 24th(sun) and 29th(fri).

I was reading about getting PS's for dinner in the park before the party starts. I never even thought about this. My question is are the meals character meals? Do the characters dress up for Halloween?

Thanks.

I think someone said before that at Liberty Tree Tavern they dress up in Halloween costumes, I don't think they do at Crystal Palace, but when we called the other day to make PS's that was the only place left that had anything left before 7:50 that was in the Magic Kingdom. LTT had a PS at 7:50 and they had one PS at CPalace for 4:10....so we took CP. I'm glad now that I looked at the menus though, as we've eaten at both but I remember we like the food better at CP....so it all worked out :)

Anyone know what nights are still available for this?! Anything between the 17th and the 21st? Also, anyone taking a toddler who has had a long nap that day? Or is that just insane?
