Mickey's Making a Come Back!

Just read that Disney is making a real effort to give Mickey his due and feature him prominently. The 75th Anniversary of Steamboat Willie is part of the reason for the push. Among other things, the article mentioned that the USPS is preparing a Mickey Mouse postage stamp. I can't wait for that!!

My dad just got a "Celebrate 75 years with Mickey" CD at Hallmark with his Christmas ornaments, and he gave it to me--don't know if he got it free for buying so many ornaments or he just got it to be nice! The kids have walked off with the jewel box but I know it includes "Turkey in the Straw", "Mickey's Yoo Hoo", "mickey Mouse March", "cowboy Mickey", "Disco Mickey Mouse" among others.
BTW, I picked up the cassette of "Disco Mickey" from the early 80s at a garage sale last month for 25cents.

Yay!!! For once Disney is being associated with Mickey and not Pooh!!! I hope the stamp comes out, I will be the first in line at my post office to get it!!!!
