A few years ago Disneyland use to have (for 2 years only) a Halloween event called "Mickey's Halloween Treat". It would go on for several nights at the end of October and everyone could dress up and go trick or treating at Disneyland. They even would pick people to be in their Halloween parade. DL would decorate everything and I remember the Pirates area being completely fogged and they had wonderful treats that they gave away(cups,posters,pins/buttons etc...)as well as food and face painting for the kids you could even have a guy make you a lollipop out of any design for you for free. It was all part of this fun event and what did DL do, "THEY STOPPED IT!!!
My question is why did they stop this? Does anyone know? We were told it was because they were starting construction on the new DCA theme park (which doesn't make sense) but anyways, DCA is open and running!!! We went both years that DL had this event and I am sad they won't bring it back... Can anyone fill in the mystery to tragic end of this event???? Thank you to all who can help solve this......
