We are going to be in Disney at the end of Sept. this time. We have never been at this time of the year and this time bringing my 8 yr. old. dgrdd. I noticed the party but was wondering where I could get more information on it. Is it worth going to? What happens ect.

Disney's web site will have information on it.We went for the first time last year. It was fun the kids had a blast. They dressed up in costumes and trick or treated and there are some great decorations.

I tried there but there really wasn't a lot of information. How much extra does it cost? Are the kids and adults suppose to dresss up? What times are they?

There should be more information on their site soon. I believe I ordered the tickets in May last year. I think they were around $35.00,they are cheaper if you buy them in advance. You don't have to dress up but there will be alot of children and adults in costume. We all dressed up last year, but do consider it will probably be very warm even in the evenings. I had brought a long sleeve costume and couldn't bear to wear it because it was too warm. Last year the party started at 7pm and went until midnight. They did let people in around 5pm with their party tickets.

Thanks for the information. I have gone to the site and had some of my questions answered.

Yes they are more than happy to give the adults candy too. They will give you all little trick or treat bags.

We found that when we went to the MNSSHP, that we actually enjoyed being in the park more then than during the regular park hours.

We got onto rides much faster, as there were hardly any lines anywhere. We did not go to the parade, which I hear is spectacular, as we were having such short lines on the rides.

We started our evening off with dinner at Crystal Palace. (I love Pooh and friends) although some people start off at Liberty Tavern (if I remember correctly.)

Definitely worth it.

The MNSSHP parade is so great!

I like it better than any of the regular Disney parades. The fireworks are great, too.

We're not supposed to be taking a WDW trip this year, but I'm trying to figure out a way to sneak down for a couple of days just for MNSSHP. I love it.
