Has anyone had this package delivered by the Disney florist? I always like to get packages sent for the kids and I would love to do this before my Ds gets too old!

No, but I have looked at it. I say no because it it a bit out of my price range but if it I could afford it I would do it.

There have been several threads on the Theme Parks board about this, complete with links and pictures. I will do a search and see if I can come up with. It looks absolutely awesome and the reviews are outstanding if that helps to start. ;)

Brill thanks a lot! I spoke with the Disney florist today and they said the can substitute the large plush as my kids already have them so that has made it more appealing!

It is expensive but I think if I don't do it know the kids will soon be too old!

I know what you mean. I went through the same thing, but it was a case of choosing which nice things I wanted to keep and which I would have to let go. It would have cost me a few character meals and I know she would miss those, but she won't know to miss what she doesn't know about, KWIM? Still, I am sure I could still do it later when she is older and just theme it differently so I consoled myself with that thought. ;) There is something about them getting it and believing it's from Mickey though. Enjoy getting it set up. And if it's not too cheeky a request, please post a picture or two of how it looked when all set out. :)

I keep thinking what they could buy with $300 in the parks too and did consider smaller baskets or using memories by Betsy she has some beautiful baskets! It was dh who choose the Disney package but he thought Mickey was in the room too at that price lol!

I will post some pics!

:lmao:lol, your DH! I have done so many add-ons for this trip that I haven't done before and TBH I think DD may be past the magical stage at 8 anyway. But if you're going to do it, do it properly and this, in my opinion, is PROPERLY! :thumbsup2

I have just read a trip report where someone did their own baskets. She wrapped a plush, stickers etc in celophane with a big bow on. Her husband followed a few minutes behind with the children so they didn't see her unpacking them.

Thought about doing it with DD but she was so thrilled last time just to be there and with the towel basket with pipecleaner flowers left by mousekeeping.

I used 'Memories by Betsy' in May for a basket for my family and I have to say it was brilliant! :thumbsup2 Wonderfully presented and arrived in our room on our first day. My family loved the surprise and it started their holiday wonderfully.

Wasn't near as expensive as the Disney florist one and I managed to get two starter lanyard kits in there, a 2010 Mickey plush and a reusable mug. They all got a little gift each.

I'd use Betsy again in a heartbeat.
