Mickey's Grand Welcome

Hi Everyone, was just curious if any of you have ever done the Mickey's Grand Welcome at the Disneyland Resort Hotels by the dream makers, if so could you please share your photos, I have seen photos of the Birthday Bash but was just curious as to what the Grand Welcome featured. Thanks in advance.

Out at Disneyland, if you stay at one of the three hotels, they have Dream Makers that will come and decorate your room and leave special gifts all over. They have a few different packages, and have seen lots of photos of Mickey's Birthday Bash but none of the Grand Welcome and was just curious as to what all it comes with and see some photos.

Hopefully someone will come along soon with photos for us, I know I have seen photos of the Birthday Bash so hopefully they will post them soon, and I am sure people have done the Mickey's Grand Welcome so hopefully soon we will get to see photos.

Hi we are getting the Grand Welcome package for our trip in July. Vacation Planning sent me this info. Sorry no picture though.

Thanks for the info! I didn't get that complete list. It's definitely expensive but you do get a lot of stuff. And certainly a "Wow" factor upon entering the room!

I saw a post here on the Dis about Amenity Offerings like baskets and cakes. Called vacation planning (714-300-7526) and spoke to Barbara. She emailed me a list of the things they can do. The list gives a general overview of the Grand Welcome and she did give me a list over the phone but I didn't get it all down.

I admit, this will be much more for me than DS14. Although I do think he will be shocked when we open the door. I know he is older but everyone can use a little extra magic, right?

Hmmm...seeing the pictures, I am not as keen on doing this. It looks great but it is 'younger' than my son. I am going to email to see about maybe some more customized options. I will report back anything I find out.
