Mickey's Fun Wheel

OP, make sure you do not ride this at night first, unless you have already been on it and are o.k.

I can go on any ride, including California Screamin' BUT found out how scared of heights I am when it was dark, and I was sitting up in the stationary basket on Mickey's Fun Wheel, when I rode it a few years ago for the first time. My kids kept asking if I was o.k., I must have looked worried, lol. I couldn't seem to get my bearings in the dark enough to get a sense of the layout of distance, etc.

Anyway, I made myself go on it again, in the day time, and it is more manageable for me. Not sure how I can go on the coaster and feel fine, maybe because it's moving faster - I even love the height of the coaster, but something about Mickey's Fun Wheel can be different.

I am not trying to scare you, it is actually quite interesting, and remember, it will go around twice.

We will a group of 8 be able to sit together? Also - the stationary side is the shorter line right? Thanks in advance!:goodvibes

I've only been once but I also agree the stationary side has the longer line. If you watch them load it's in groups on 3, 2 swinging and 1 stationary gondola. The swinging side was interesting to say the least.
