I've had a look at the WDW Info site about this as it looks like something that we'd really enjoy. I have a couple of questions though and would appreciate any thoughts you have.

Firstly - is it every night? Or just specific dates each month? I can't seem to get a definitive feeling either way from what I'm reading.

Secondly - has anyone else done it? It's $30 an adult, which seems pretty reasonable to me but I'd love to hear from someone who's been :)

Oh thanks both! That just makes me hope even more that there will be one in September this year :D

That's a great review Janiebubble - I hadn't seen any pictures of the desserts before and they look fab! I'm with you on the choc-dipped strawberries!

um yes..did it last year...kind of wished we hadnt..wasnt impressed at all. It was very rushed and queues for the desserts were very long..we were lucky to get in two visits to the buffet in all and even then people in front were filling their plates up with all the good stuff like the choccy dipped strawbs. They def did not refill either while we were there. Kids were bored stiff after 5 mins.
The min the fireworks are over everything including stuff on your table will be cleared away. This year I think we will take our money to the bakery shop in WDW and buy the same desserts for half the price and sit and watch the fireworks while eating them in peace. Just my opinion.:)

I loved the fact that we didn't have to stand in the middle of hoards of people to watch Wishes and the view of the fireworks was pretty good. We got some great Photopass pictures with the castle. However we didn't think that the desserts were that good. DH doesn't really do desserts so we new going in that he would just get cookies, but according to him they weren't that good. youngest DD and I love desserts so we were really looking forward to this, but again neither of us though the desserts were very good and we were kind of disappointed! Oldest DD thought it was just OK! having said that i would probably do it again just to get away from the crowds!

I'm glad we did it but wouldn't do it again. It was good to watch Wishes without the crowds but DH isn't to bothered about desserts and if I was I being honest it wasn't worth the money but saying that I enjoyed the viewing which is part of what you are paying for.
