Ok now that I'm on the board I want to ask something that I've been wondering about since our last trip in December. We stayed at CS since SS was booked (I know - not the best use of points, etc).

Anyhow, on 3 seperate occasions (all at night) we saw what we were calling "Mickey's cousins" running around. Once out at the tables in front of the lake, once near the quiet pool in the Casita, and another on the walk back to the room. One of the maintenance people said they're been having a problem due to the restrictive rodent contol laws in Florida. Not sure how true that is. It's the first tme I've ever seen anything like that at disney and we've been going for years. Anyone else ever see anything like that at the resorts??

I see a few evey now and then, mostly at the parks, in the bushes.

I know Apopka, a suburb of Orlando, has had an abundance of rodents this year, and they are just starting to get them under control. The only rodent I've seen was at Epcot, and it was about the size of a squirrel, but not a squirrel.

I have seen rodent traps or poison. Can't remember which, but we noted it.

:lmao: When the OP mentioned Mickeys cousins, I thought they meant Mickey's lil nephews that Ive seen in books and cartoons:rotfl2: :happytv:
