Hi,

Just back from BWV, June 29-July 4. Wonderful trip.
Has anyone bought and tried the Mickey Mouse line of coffee they have been selling at the Disney Stores @ WDW?

Also,

Asked for the 10% at Artist Point and got it. The waitress at Artist Point was fabulous and even though she had already run up the bill, I asked if the DVC member discount was available there.

She said no but went back to ask the head person. She came back will a new bill reflecting the 10% discount and said that they were really pushing for Disney to make it available to the DVC members. Hey, the staff is pulling for us!

You woun't get it unless you ask type of deal I guess.

Also, you've got to try the mushroom soup there. Incredible and they are more than happy to give you the recipe! Yippie!

That's encouraging - Artist Point is my favorite restaurant and with discounts at other DVC resort restaurants it makes sense to have one at WL as well....

Lucky you to get the DVC discount! We ate there on Wed. 7/9 and asked our server if the discount applied, the answer was no.:( Oh well... our server was Michelle and she was wonderful! Very helpful on the food selections. My DH had the mushroom soup and it was Wonderful!!! We enjoyed the food very much! Maybe next time we are there we'll get the DVC discount.:D

We have tried the Disney brand of coffee as well. It was good. If memory serves me correctly it could have been a little stonger in flavor, but that also depends on your taste, we like our coffee really stong!

Sure,

Give me a little time to scan it.

You'll need a smoker to smoke the mushrooms to really do it right.

We were so excitied about our first trip "home" that we bought the Perriwinkle Blue china, plates, mugs and sugar & creamer on-line from Fiestaware.

My wife has finally caught the bug!

Disney coffee across the board is generally weak, if you like strong coffee try the pressed pot of coffee at Kona Cafe at the Poly

You mentioned Disney coffee and I would like to know if this is the same stuff they offer at restaurants in WDW. That stuff is horrible. We only drink coffee at the Expresso places like the one in Epcot. We always bring our own Starbucks from home for the room. That room coffee is even worse than the restaurant coffee.

Jiko and Bomo also have awesome coffee! Try the AA Kenya in the french press...WOW, it is the smoothest, richest, stongest, yet not bitter at all, coffee I've ever had!:D

We had the Mickey coffee in Hazelnut flavor and really enjoyed it, but that could have been the magic of the moment, ejoying it on our balcony on our first trip home ... we didn't have enough left to bring back to NC. We also bought the coffe mugs that match the Mickey coffee can and we love them. They are nice and big and feel good in the hand.

Anyone know if they make a coffee bean holder/canister that matches this line?

lacool,
Yes, they make a nice matching ceramic coffee holder. Picked one up at a Poly gift shop last year.

Wonderful!!! Thank you so much G.G. Now I'll have to go searching for the WDW merchandise Mail-order phone number. It would have been so much easier if I'd have just gotten one when I was there too, but I had no idea how much DH and I would love the mugs!
