Mickey's Christmas party

Can you please tell me if we need to go first thing and find our spot for the parade.. the first one.. or can we enjoy a few things and then find ourspot?

also is Christmas Belle still out? what other special ones are out for the party?

I would say try to go to the 2nd parade if possible (less crowded).

And Belle is out in her holiday dress. She meets by the old Skyway location (across from Peter Pan- where strollers get parked).

Ignore the first parade and attend the second parade, it's much less crowded. I also recommend that you get where you want to go before the first parade begins, getting across the parade route is extremely difficult.

This is what I'm gonna do: First, sleep in and just hang around the resort. (The party is late and you will get very tired). Go to MK around 4:30ish. Eat dinner at a counter service. Meet Santa. Get wristbands for the party. Then we're gonna see the 1st twas the night before christmas show in tomorrowland, after that, during the 1st parade, get on some rides. Then see Wishes from mainstreet. (Its crowded from there, but you get to see the fireworks 360 degrees effect) After that, get cookies and cocoa and see the 2nd parade from frontierland. (mainstreet is too crowded). By now, my DD3 will probably be tired and we'll head back to the resort.

last year my sister and I went to the 2nd parade and showed up jsut before and got front row seats. We lucked out though because we got there just as they were putting a rope across the street so we could sit there. But we are going to go to the 2nd one this year too and maybe try and get there jsut a tad earlier than last time.

I agree, go to the second parade. We went to the park around 5 pm and rode space mountain, stitch, and thunder mountain (walked right on each one) and tons of other rides and still had PLENTY of time to get a good spot for the second parade. The only thing I was not prepared for was the cold night. It dropped down to 45 and I ended up spending $ on sweatshirts and blankets to watch the parade.

No matter what, just enjoy yourself and have a great time!
