I can't remember what the event is called, but I have a question. If you are planning on being in MK on the day that they have the Mickey's Christmas event do you have to leave the park if you don't have tickets for THAT event or is it in a separate area?

If you want to participate is it a large additional cost or? We have MYW tickets.

You have to leave the park by 7pm. They will show Wishes at 6pm so you can see that. If you want to stay for the party you have to buy a ticket for it. I forget how much they cost (I bought mine months ago!) but it's about $40 I think.

Yep, the party takes over the whole park. If you don't have a "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas" ticket and wristband, you have to go.

We purchased our tickets last night.....$210 for 5 people, tax included....$42 each.

There are a limited number of MVMCP tickets sold. Therefore, if you're interested and are traveling to WDW during a busy time, you might want to get them now.

True. BUT, if you like, you may elect to buy a party ticket, in which case you may enter the park as early as 4:00pm, (no regular admission ticket required), get your wristband, and stay until the party is over at about midnight. So actually you get to enjoy the Magic Kingdom for a total of about eight hours, and see the special parades, fireworks, rides and shows. Methinks that's not a bad deal at all.

Enjoy.

I will second this idea! This is exactly what we'll be doing on December 12th.
