Mickey's BBQ

We are trying to decide if we should do Mickey's BBQ. Can anyone who has experienced this tell me what you think? My only problem is paying $25 for my 4 year old who will eat/drink about $2.50 worth. I think this looks like fun, but I need some more input!!! Any/all information would be greatly appreciated.

We really enjoyed it. We thought the food was good, the characters were wonderful and the set up was fine.
It was extremely hot waiting outside (in August) but some of the characters came around in the line to make it somewhat bearable. They take your picture beforehand and sell the packages later. We cut out early after we had our fill to see the Campfire movie but we got some great pictures and it was all the beer you could drink! We were happy!

In your case, I could see where the price would be a factor, my DH ate enough for the whole family!! LOL Just think of it as paying for the characters. All character meals are higher than regular and here you're able to get up and dance with them!

They serve BBQ chicken, hot dogs, corn on the cob, beans, marble cake, cole slaw, potato salad. Lemonade or tea to drink (or unlimited beer and wine). We had fun and the food was pretty good. The band was pretty good, too. Plus they announced all the birthdays and anniversaries.

Do they have the BBQ during Feb? My sil would like for the family to do this.
