Mickey's BBQ or Chef Mickey breakfast...or both?!

Hi! We're planning an extended family trip to WDW for Spring Break '09. Still plenty of time to decide, but we're debating whether to do Mickey's BBQ, breakfast at Chef Mickey, or both. We'll be traveling with five (!) kids under the age of six, so some of us think that the more character fun, the better. Half of the group has attended the BBQ before and LOVED it; the other half attended the Chef Mickey breakfast and LOVED it; and we're also talking about going to the Hoop De Doo Revue.....Any thoughts on whether the BBQ and the breakfast are too similar to do in the same trip? If so, for those who have done both, which has the most character interaction? Or, instead of choosing, should we do both of those and scratch HDDR? (Or - and this is my vote - do all three!)
Thanks for your thoughts.

We're going in Sept or December and we are going to do all three (we have a 3 year old in our party of 5)!!
Have fun no matter what!!

My vote is chef mickeys...

We did the backyard bbq and our opinion was it was maybe worth 1 credit, but not 2 credits... it was just okay...

CHEF MICKEY's FOR SURE!! The experience is just absolutely awesome! We enjoyed the shows, but wouldn't spend 2 credits for it and, would pick CM even if it were 2 credits. My .02

Chef Mickey's has more food options in my opinion and watching the monorail from the restaurant is fun as well! The BBQ menu is limited and the dessert bar at Chef Mickey's is fabulous! Though you said the breakfast which is my favourite soo much food soo much character interaction with the party every30 minutes where you wave your napkins and the monorail and the loads of options of food I think that Chef Mickeys is more than worth 1 credit! Whereas the BBQ is 2 credits and not worth the 2 credits, though Hoop Dee Doo is!! Though the best character ineraction I had was at Ohana for breakfast and at Cape May Cafe for the record:)

We have a few Mickey crazed individuals in our family...:upsidedow so with the DXDDP CM and the BBQ are two obvious choices. Having never done HDD, that got my vote, based on all the great reviews on this board!

We are doing all three in May and did all three in December 07- though the food is not great the best character interactions are at the BBQ - it is really fun!!

We went to Mickey's Backyard BBQ last Sep during free dining and I would not recommend it. It was not even worth 1 credit in my opinion. The food was your standard BBQ fare. The place was so crowded it was hard for the kids to see the characters. Also, we found it hard to get to the location. And the MC was incredibly rude. He kept yelling at people to sit down. It was like elementary school where you had to raise your hand to ask if you could go to the bathroom. It was so bad we actually left early. Garden Grill is a much better experience to see Mickey.
