Mickey's Bar-B-Q

Of course you can talk about money. :) I think this whole "money" thing goes back to a thread awhile ago dealing with complaints about money and how much things cost and if they are worth it or not.

IMO, Disney is not a cheap place to visit no matter where/when you stay. I know that going in and plan on it. I didn't eat one meal there that I would've paid that much for back here at home. But it was a vacation and all part of the experience of Disney.

There are a lot of things at WDW that I gladly pay premium prices for but would never dream of paying that price in the real world. Its all a part of vacationing. The beauty of these forums is that you can determine the personal worth of something and make an informed decision on what you will spend your hard earned money on. :cool2:

Here's something else to throw in here..anyone ever been to the Dixie Stampeed?...Was thinking of something different...I know dare I to venture out of Disney:scared1: ..but was curious as to how this show compares to either the HDDR or BBQ?

My friends just got back from their Honeymoon down there and they went to the Dixie Stampede...they really enjoyed it. I don't know much about it though.

There are so many neat things to do in the Orlando area outside of Disney. We love Universal and Sea World. We took the kids to the ocean and they had fun playing in the waves. I could spend 3 MONTHS down there and still not get to do everything I wanted to !!

I love country music, but was severely underwhelmed by the BBQ. I'd not go back.

For the money, I'd rather go to Hoop De Doo, or to the Dolly Parton show (which can be had cheaper often, like with AAA). OR, I'd have a nice meal at Yachtsman, Le Cellier, etc.

How does the Dolly Parton show compare to HDDR?...I'm not at all familiar with it?:confused3
