Mickeys Backyard

I'm posting this here because......I dunno.

Last time we attended the Backyard BBQ (years ago) Mickey and Minnie were a guarantee and they stayed until the last guest got their autograph...

I just checked their site and they say there is a variety of characters....I know there were for the dancing, but does that mean M & M are now just a maybe?

Yes, the site says:

Cowpokes may meet:

• Mickey Mouse
• Minnie Mouse
• Goofy
• Chip ‘n Dale

Character appearances and entertainment are subject to change.

In case something unforeseen happens, WDW never guarantees character appearances. Chances are good you WILL see them, but they have to have a disclaimer just in case.

I have ALWAYS seen Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale. Been there at least 6 - 7 times, always the same. BUT....something COULD possibly (super rare) happen, that one might be missing. That has not been my experience. We've been in all sorts of weather...cold, downpours, thunderstorms, beautiful sunny, hot etc... all characters are still there.
