Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

Does anyone know what is happening with Mickey's Backyard BBQ? I've noticed on MDE there are zero reservations available in September (we are going in Nov so I've been watching-thanks to my 5 mo old I'm up anyway!). I called Disney dining reservations and spoke to a CM who said it is not scbeduled past June, but of course that's all she could tell me. Anyone know the inside scoop?

I haven't heard of it being cut but I know when we booked it last year for our trip in April we only booked a few months in advance...I don't think it was showing availability 180 days out. I heard this is also a seasonal event as well (never effected us bc we always go in March/April), but not sure about people that go November, December, January, February.

I believe Mickey's BBQ is seasonal, maybe they close it for the summer months.

Thank you that gives me hope! I can't remember where I read this but I understood it typically runs March-December, but I've also read advice to be sure to book 180 days out since it is popular, and that last advice obviously isn't quite right! Did you just keep checking every day? Thanks!

I read a review by someone who went in December, so unless the seasonality is new, they shouldn't ordinarily be closed then.

Thanks for responses-am a bit sheepish to admit this but only checked availability via the app on my phone. You can book 180 days out via the website no problem. Annoying but I should have tried that!

Try switching days... I think it is usually available on Tues. I think it is only offered one or two nights a week. We are going the last week in August.
