1st - Is it UNBEARABLY hot in the beg. of Sept?

2nd - Do last minute reservations ever open up? We are going Aug29-Sept7 and Ive just read all about the BBQ and it seems like all food we love(we love hot dogs and burgers and baked beans) and my 2 y.o LOVES music and the characters so I think he would love it.

So I just checked and it is booked for both Thurs and Sat while we are there but just wondering do reservations ever open up at the last minute? I know you have to pay in full when you book so people are more committed but is is impossible to think some people may actually cancel?

We went at the end of September a couple years back and it was soooo HOT. It was horrible. We just ended up eating a little and leaving before things even got started.

I will say that the food was good, BUT it was way to hot to enjoy it.

I don't think that we will ever do this again.

Just wanted to let you know. Sorry to be a big downer on this.

Agreed! Food, show, atmosphere were not worth it.

You can get reservations last minute if someone cancels. You have to keep calling and checking. The one thing (unless they changed it this year) is it's open seating. Yes you have reservations, but it's first come, first serve seating. And with it being outside, it could be canceled due to the weather. These last two reasons are why we decided not to do it and do Hoop Dee Do instead.
