Mickey's Backyard BBQ

I was thinking about an ADR for Mickey's BBQ instead of Whispering Canyon. What are your thoughts? I realize the BBQ is from 6:30-8pm, but is dinner usually done early where we can leave around 7:30pm?

Dinner is a buffet. You may leave whenever you wish. You will miss a lot of the show if you leave early. I can't remember when the show starts but it is soon after opening. They have dancing with the characters, some men doing rope tricks and singing and dancing by the preformers in the band. The show continues until closing. It is a great character experience for young children (however many teens and adults can be seen on the dance floor). The atmosphere is very informal, people getting up and down, getting more food, more drinks, etc. Be sure and get in line about 1/2 hour before opening and you can be one of the first in the buffet line. Grab a table by the dance floor if you have small children. Enjoy
