Click here for info. and photos. It's seasonal, starting in March, and it's great for little kids because they can run around and dance etc. rather than just staying seated. Also, you can leave when you want instead of having to stay for the whole thing. There's great informal character interaction, and the food was tasty (Mickey Bars for dessert...mmmmm!).

We hated it. It was crowded, you had to fight for a table, one adult had to guard the table at all times or we'd lose it - it was that crowded!
Our kids are small, they couldn't go to the dance floor alone and our table was so far away from the dance floor that one adult had to go with them. We also had to run to the buffet in shifts. I found the whole thing annoying. It was a little too informal for the amount of people there that evening.
We all enjoyed the Hoop Dee Doo Revue much more than the BBQ.
Yes, it's a 2TS meal.

We love this.....its the first thing i suggest to newbies.
Best character interaction we have had.
Kids get to dance with Mickey,Minnie,Goof,Chip and Dale !!!
The show its self is fun too.
The food is also good .....we were last to leave and they gave us all extra Mickey bars.
We also saw the fire works from MK on the boat back.
Very,very enjoyable night.
Give it a go I say.

The characters were cute, the food was very good. It is loud & crowded - but most of Disney is.
The only caution I would give is if you have shy children and this is their first trip, I would not schedule it on your first night. I learned the hard way that some children need to be eased into the seeing large mice.

It will cost you two TS per person. There is no assigned seating so you must show up ahead of time and be in line so when they start letting people in you can go directly to a table. One of us usually takes DGS up to the buffet line while the other stays at the table saving our spots and watching our bags.
The food is standard Bar-B-Que. Ribs, chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw, etc. You can have all the beer and wine and soft drinks you want. You pick your own dessert from freezers around the room, I remember Mickey Bars, Fruit Bars and ????
If you have small children I recommend sitting right next to the dance floor. That way when they want to get up to dance with the characters you can remain seated and keep an eye on them. This is great interaction with the characters and the show is good also.
Everything is very informal and unstructured so you can come and go as you please.

It was fun. We got there really early and got pictures and stuff with the characters beforehand. They had all sorts or toys out for the kids and of couse lots of beer and wine.
Once we were let in, we got a table right next to the stage. Then we took turns waiting at the table while the other went through the buffet. While nothing fancy, I thought the food was REALLY good. Plus, lots of beer and wine and mickey bars!
The dance floor did get crowded. However after about an hour, the whole place cleared out. I coudn't believe it
Seriously, why would you pay all that money or use two TS credits and leave???? For the last hour there were probably about 20 kids and the characters, so my son got lots of attention then. DH and I continued to enjoy the beer and mickey bars
