We have this booked and I am just not sure if its worth 2 credits?? Our kids are 15 and 6.. Do you think its worth the money?? and do you think they would enjoy it? If not any other suggestions?

THanks.. Sarah

I guess for the 15yr old it depends how into the characters and country music they are. And is your 6 yearold into getting up and dancing around. I have 8 and 5 year old girls who are very outgoing and love it they are all over the place dancing and playing with the characters. The food is typical BBQ type fare, which seems to be hit or miss with whether you get it hot or not. Another great show with good food is the hoop-de-do review. I haven't been to that one in a few years though.

There are only a few characters there, I think I remember Goofy & Minnie and Mickey. Unless they have added more since I was there, which is very possible. If they like line dancing, that was the focus of the night. Learning how to do it and doing it. The food was good, nothing special. 2 credits is a lot I think for that, I would rather spend it elsewhere. JMHO

We are leaving in a few days and are there until the 9th. I wonder if it is too late to try to get seating.

Not a bad meal but nothing special. The big draw is the llooooonngg time that the characters spend dancing & mingling with the guests.

If you or your kids are not into spending an hour or so dancing with the characters to country music, then it will not be worth 2 credits for you.

We were unimpressed.

I was told its sold out 6 months in advance, we just tried to book it thru group dining and we told sold out this sept for a group of around 12

We were there on July 19 and only booked it a week in advance and didn't have any trouble getting it. We really liked it. Very laid back, kids could wander around to the characters or sit & eat. There was no rushing. Except the rushing to get in & find a table. Be sure to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to.

If paying oop would you do this? It was suggested by guest relations as an alternative to adding a park day. I am not sure it is worth the cost though. How long does the whole evening last? I know that dinner starts at 6:30pm.

We went a few years ago and my Dh and I loved it. We love traditional bbq and thought the food was great. A oerson also does rope twirling demo for you which was cool. The characters were there for a long time. We woudl do it again.
