I just booked my Mickey's Backyard BBQ! Has anyone ever been?? What is it like??

I agree. Get there early to get good seats. The kids will love the characters, but the food isn't too good. But if the kids are happy, hey what can you say.

keep in mind it is held in an open end building. the evening we went(it was december)it was chilly. just something to keep in mind. if i had to chose between the BBQ andHDD, it would be HDD hands down.

We went in the month of May. It was very, very, very HOT. We got there early so we had great seats. The kids enjoyed themselves, we all thought the food was ok and the band was great. We ended up leaving about 1/2 early because it was too hot and muggy. I do not think we will ever go again. Did I mention that it was hot?

We went last year for my DS birthday. The kids loved the characters, but we didn't like the food.
