So, how is this? I have heard mixed reviews and am hesitant to take my kids, but it sounds like it would be a good time. What is the food like? How about the entertainment? We are doing the DxDP and thought shows are a good way to use the credits. Any advice?

I took my children when they were 3, 6, 10. They loved it. It is very active and can be a little loud. Very much a bbq atmosphere. The food was good when we went fried chicken, ribs, corn on the cob. My youngest won't eat any of that they brought him a peanutbutter sandwich. They have a country band, a roper, and characters to dance with.

We thought the food was good. It is an outdoor BBQ and we found it very nice. Our DS was 2 then and he got up and danced with Mickey and Mommy.:lovestruc

I think your children will enjoy it!

OMG I did the same thing! So funny. (I expect to hear from the allergy crowd shortly)

But, we love the BBQ - it's lots of fun. As long as you know what to expect - long, shared picnic tables, loud-ish music, dancing with characters, BBQ food (good, but by no means "gourmet")

People will argue that it is not a good use of credits because it takes 2 TS and the menu is hamburgers and hot dogs. To me, the "best use of credits" is a meal (or show) that you enjoy with your family, regardless of the price vs credit comparison.
