Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Hoop De Doo?

Decisions, decisions.
Have read alot of great things about Hoop De Doo, but I haven't read alot of anything about the Backyard BBQ (might be missing some posts).
What do you think?

Hoop De Doo Is Really A Great Show And The Food
Was Just As Great. All You Can Eat Ribs/chicken
The Kids Just Loved It.

We have been to and enjoyed both, but to answer your question, we've been to Mickey's BBQ once and have reservations for the HDD for the 7th time at the end of March.

The backyard BBQ was fun, but it was hot (we went in July), it was mostly Country and Western themed (no offense, but not our cup of tea) and the humor was not as good as the HDD. But again, we did have a good time. There was a lot of character interaction for the kids and the food was good (although it's about the same as the HDD).

Now the HDD. Would not miss it when going to WDW with the kids. The jokes never change but never get old. And it's air-conditioned.

Another point for HDDR - the one time we went it was raining and windy - The Bar-B-Q appeared to be under a picnic pavillion (no sides). It may have once been part of Water Country - I never visited DW when water country was open . I think the people on the one edge of the pavillion were getting a little wet.
That may have changed - it has been a while.
