Mickeys' Backyard BBQ or HDDR?

HDDR in a heartbeat!! we LOVED IT!

but even before we went, i'll share why we chose HDDR over MBYBBQ... we were there in august, so air conditioning was a huge factor, and BBQ is outdoors and not a/c'd... ditto for mosquitos! also, having had a few buffet meals where we had to stand on line for our food, we looked forward to being served while still enjoying the "all you care to eat" benefit...

now, having been i have to say the show was OUTSTANDING! the food was way ABOVE AVERAGE (fried chicken that dh now holds as the example! LOL!)! the audience participation was great fun! the atmosphere was delightful! it really felt like a special treat meal... we LOVED IT LOTS!

HDDV is a no miss event. We go every visit to WDW, unless our visit is <3 days. The Food is great and the show is outstanding. The only downfall is its remote location. If you see the late show, It can be difficult to get back to your hotel. Enjoy.

We've done both and while we had a good time at the BBQ, HDD is the best. We're going to the HDD for the 7th time two weeks from today
