Mickey's Backyard BBQ followed by the Campfire?

I was wondering if it would be possible to attend Mickey's Backyard BBQ and then go to the campfire in time for s'mores and the sing along? How far is the campfire from the BBQ, and is there enough time to get there or will we miss any of it?

We are going in September and I thought it would be a lot of fun to try to do both. Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

We have been several years to MB BBQ and after dinner and most of the show it is usually around 8-8:30 though I think the characters and music may be around a bit longer.

In regards to having s'mores the BBQ has all you can eat dessert of some kind. I have been when there is a hugh sheet cake and the past 2 years there were frozen treats like Mickey's Premiums and such. Really cool!

You will love the BBQ. It is one of the best placees to see the big characters - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip n Dale, etc.

No, it won't be too late to enjoy some of what the campfire has to offer, but you will have missed the sing-a-long and the beginning of the movie. The campfires burn throughout the movie time though, and you can do smores as long as they are lit. I would say hang around the BBQ until the characters leave, take a stroll toward the beach, maybe stopping off at the play fort near Crocket's, and then catch the fireworks and water pageant instead. Save the campfire for a night you can take it all in. My advice, anyhow.

My DW, DS5, and I went to the BBQ last year and had a great time. The food was good, and it was a very fun evening. I agree with the Shan-Man, take a walk on the beach, find a good spot to watch the fireworks and relax, save the campfire for another night. You'll love it!
