Sorry, dogs aren't allowed at any of the food venues, trading posts, beaches, pools or shops. Really not any of the totally "public" areas - such as the Settlement, marina, and Outpost.

They are pretty much only allowed at the camp sites in the pet loops, the designated dog walks and the dog park.

Back when they had kennels at each of the theme parks you could easily get some character shots with your dogs, even some PhotoPass shots!

That would be cool. They need character visits at the dog park!

Now THAT would be cool!

Back when they had kennels at each of the theme parks you could easily get some character shots with your dogs, even some PhotoPass shots!

LOVE those photos!!

I wonder if the new kennel facility will have characters stop by from time to time? Somehow I doubt it, but you never know.

Another bummer is that this year they stopped allowing pet visits with Santa at DTD.

See those pictures are just amazing and what awesome photos of your dogs, I mean doesn't every dog owner that is a Disney person want a photo of their dog with Pluto, they really need to allow this, I might have to find some place to make my voice be heard. What awesome memories you have.

Yeah, it was extra special because Pluto was just going off stage as we approached. He/she saw our dogs heading his way, turned back to the photo area and waved us in!

When it was all over I patted Pluto on the head and said, "Good doggie, good doggie!"

While we were at DTD getting the Santa shots we also got a few others.

I'm sorry to hear they've discontinued the Santa pictures for pets!
