Mickeys Back yard or the Spirit of Aloha Dinner

We did Hoop Dee Doo last visit and was wondering which, Mickeys Backyard or the Spirit of Aloha Dinner to do next. Which is a better time? Thanks!

Also, with the dining plan, is it first come first serve on your seating at the Aloa dinner? I noticed there are different categories and only category 2 and 3 you can use with the dining plan. How do you know which category seating you will end up with.

We did the Spirit of Aloha dinner show on Dec. 22 & really enjoyed it. Good food too!

Seating was not "first come, first served". We had to wait to be seated by a cast member, who took us to a specific table.

We were on the dining plan. I don't remember which category we were in, but our seats were very good.

-Be prepared..they take your group picture beforehand...like at Chef Mickey's. I did not know this & we were kind of rumpled looking!
**We haven't tried the Hoop show yet, but have an ADR for this summer.
