Hi,

One more week and counting until our very much needed vacation.

I have been trying for many months to get a reservation at MBYBBQ and have had not luck.

Two questions:

Is there anyone cancelling their PS for this from 4/20-5/1, for 4 people , please let me know and is is possilbe to use them or transfer?

Second, does anyone have a suggestions on how I can in while I am there without a PS. I know it is tough, but would love to know?

Seating is not assigned here, so the PS for all four people does not have to be made all at one time. Keep calling, and when you call see if there are any cancellations. If there is one or two - take them - and then just keep calling back for additional cancellations until you have seating for all four. When I went last year, a deposit was required, but you can get it back as long as you cancel within the scheduled time frame. (And because it does require a deposit, if people are not going to go they will cancel rather than just not show up, so more likely you will find one.) I can't remember how far in advance you have to cancel, but I think was only like 24-48 hours. If it is 24 hours in advance, the day before is going to probably be the best time to call because that is when the cancellation spaces will become open.

Take my advice - don't worry about it and save your money. That was probably the only DIsney thing we didn't like. I thought it was such a great idea but it was like a free for all with the characters and no organization at all. Save your money and go to CHef Mickeys.

In our opinion it was great - we enjoyed the informal atmosphere better than we would have enjoyed a sit down meal with a 2-1/2 year old, and we all (me, DH, MIL, and DS) had a lot of fun.

This meal is now one that most be paid for in full when booking. But I would keep trying and do as the previous poster said on asking for smaller party size. You can still get a refund within 48 hours if you don't end up with 4 seats.

I think this one is harder to get since it is only offered twice a week instead of every night a few times a night like HDDR.
