We did the BBQ in May of 2001. For us, we didn't feel it was worth the $$. This was one of 2 meals that we did in 10 days that we really regretted (the other was Chef Mickey for dinner) but it took months before I could think about it without wishing we hadn't spent the $$. Please know that it wasn't "awful" - just not what we expected & not our "kind of thing."
None of us drink alcohol & the cost includes beer & wine for the adults. It was essentially picnic food - not outstanding, but okay....nothing that made us say "It have to have 2nds of that!" However, they had trouble keeping the buffet filled the night we were there, which was annoying.
It was very crowded & we had to sit at tables at the edge of the pavilion...so we weren't "front & center" when the characters came out. DD stood in line 3x before she finally got to the front to get autographs. (It was hot & the times they stayed out were short accordingly.)
It was largely the circumstances, as well as our personal taste. (We're not HUGE CW music fans.)
