Not good... the whole thing is overproduced and weirdly fake. There were a couple of decent segments in between all the unrelated pop music performances.

It's like they completely ignored what makes you feel warm about Mickey. Just a bunch of pop music performances squeezed in to this. Sure, it's big and slick. But for a guy who's 90, you have to take into consideration that there are adults over 35 who love him. Us old school Mousketeers got short shrift. Leslie Odom did very well by When You Wish Upon A Star, though. No surprise there! A bit too low on the history and artistic accomplishments. Bob Iger has all the onscreen charisma of... well, of a CEO.
More and more it just feels like the company doesn't get it. I miss all the big celebs over 40, like they had for the Disneyland anniversary. Dang, they got Helen frickin' Mirren for that one!
Eh. I thought it was pretty tedious. I had prerecorded it and ended up fast-forwarding through the majority of it. Sort of reminded me of the inane Oscar and Emmy programs. Not much of interest or value to offer.
It was terrible, I fast forwarded through nearly the entire show. And while we're talking about Mickey, the latest iteration of him is disgraceful. 90 years of artistic integrity flushed away.
