Mickey's 75th Birthday

I just found out that Mickey's 75th birthday is in November. Has anyone heard of any Celebration for his birthday? I'm hoping they are planning a year long Celebration like they've done in the past for other events (25th anniversary) since we will be there next July.

I haven't heard anything yet, but we are going in May so that would be fun.

By the way, my brother's birthday is the same day as Mickey's - November 18. (Just not the same year!) Last year I made him a Mickey cake.

Chances are you won't see any big celebrations for Mickey's birthday. Disney wants you to see the characters as timeless.

You will see merchandise with the 75th birthday on it but no big year long celebrations.

We were just there and saw some things for the birthday, but it's not looking like a major celebration like Walt's birthday was. I was going to ask a CM when the birthday was, since it seemed that 75 years would be in 2003. I only saw a few t-shirts and sweat shirts, as well as a penny press machine (I think at the Yacht Club).
