My best friend's family is obsessed wit disney and with christmas, and they go all out for decorating. But every year, with out fail, is a mickey wreath outside their balcony.. and in 2000, they made the disney 200 out of wreaths too. It was great!
I wired the wreaths together so they looked like Mickey, then my wife strung the lights starting with the plugs at the bottom, winding in a serpentine pattern..one string going up one side, the other string going up the other....... it was a team effort
the wreaths have a heavy wire framework...,,,they should last a long time...
the lights have the control box so they do all sorts of neat stuff..blink, chase, fade,,etc...
but I decided I liked the lights on steady....
or pay our expenses to WDW..for a week and we'll deliver the wreaths fully assembled....LOL
if you're going to come all the way to PA to steal my wreath. just let me know when you are coming, I'll take you to the store where I bought the wreaths,,help you wire it and maybe I can get my wife to help with the lights...that way everybody's happy and I won't have to send you to jail for stealing Mickey....
it's wrong to steal....it's doubly wrong to steal anything Disney related
I live in an apartment so one day after someone else posted regarding the wreaths went to my local dollar store and purchased willow rings, One large, two small. Bought the fake garland, 4 in total, two for the large ring, one each for the small. Wrapped beads around each circle. Added a Santa Hat and Santa Gloves and viola! All for $10.00 and hopefully will last year to year!
