Mickey wedding rings

I hear you. My wedding was $5000 at the DL Hotel. It included everything except the photographer, our rings, and our clothes. It has gotten crazy as far as pricing goes these days. I'm talking it included the wedding, the location, the reception and all food, the party favors, EVERYTHING.

My friend got married at the Grand Californian. Her rings were the best ever. She had a single diamond as her engagement ring, then her wedding ring was a wrap with two slightly smaller diamonds positioned JUST right and made our dear Mickey symbol. She and her husband did have them custom made, however.

Well geeze...you don't have to rub it in.... That is awesome! It certainly has changed over time, huh?

Well, you get what you pay for...LOL...my wedding wasn't nearly as spectacular as what they are now. But, it was perfect for us.

Disney Tokyo called me back yesterday. The lady said since I wasn't getting married in Tokyo (or didn't know when I would be coming to Japan ) she would have to see if they are able to sell the rings and some of the other stuff I saw on their website to me. I told her I am doing a vow renewal at Walt Disney World and she could confirm with DFTW in Florida. She said she would still have to confirm if she is able to sell the items to me. So I am waiting for an answer. It just occurred to me perhaps DFTW could get the items and I pay them. Doesn't hurt to ask!

Here is my current set up - I have a plain band, & a princess cut solitare with an enhancer around it. The enhancer has 3 rounds that are the closest thing I could find to Mickey Ears. I want to get something else for an anniversary band to wear with all three if it is small enough, or to replace my band.

Most likely you will have to get it made from a jeweler.... I will keep looingfor u though!

I don't have a picture to post (or permission if I did!), but I know she is still active in the Disney community and online and now lives in Orlando...

I wonder if you can Google to find it?
