Mickey waffles

Please tell me Chef Mickey's has Mickey waffles!!??? I looked at the menu and I couldn't find them. After watching the WDW special on Unwrapped on the Food Channel, my DH is obsessed with eating those Mickey waffles and I assumed they were from Chef Mickeys. That's the main reason we are going there. Where else can we find them?

We were at Chef Mickey's and I did see them there. I also saw them at the Crystal Palace. I even saw a Mickey Waffle Maker for $75 in one of the gift shops.

The Disney Store online sells the Mickey Waffle maker for $58. But this statement appears with it:
"WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm. "
What is up with that????

OMG!!! Boy, am I glad I didn't buy that waffle maker. I will continue making my own mickey pancakes!

We get our Mickey Waffles at Bill and Min's Dockside Diner at MGM on EE days after RnR and TT!

We had them in April at the Character Breakfast at the Polynesian (Ohana's). They were served "family style" in a huge skillet along with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!!!!!!!! Yummy!!!!

They have Mickey Waffles at the Swan and Dolphin breakfast buffets. They 'used' to have them at Hollywood & Vine character breakfast ---

They are our favorite breakfast food in the parks! But I will definitely not be buying that waffle maker from Disney!!!

Obviously I didn't read the fine print. Does anyone know if they are talking about the teflon coating on the waffle maker? I recieved this as a gift last Christmas. I literally (no joke) make pancakes everyday for my kids. They love it! I've only misses a few days since Christmas. Don't get me wrong...I'm no supermom....it's easy, with easy cleanup. And they beg for it every morning. Now I'm concerned I'm poisoning my kids, especially if they get it every day. HELP!

I'm sure it's not the coating. I bought a rotating night light for my daughter a year ago and it had the same caution on it. She's had the light on every night for the year. We're fine. Just my 2 cents.

I had baby mickey waffles at Chef Mickey's. I had big mickey waffles at the CBR. My DH got me a Mickey Waffle Iron for our anniversary. (Must have Mickey! ) If you keep your eyes peeled, you should be able to find this delicious concoction.

When we were there, Crystal Palace had Pooh and Tigger waffles but no Mickey Waffles. Chef Mickey's did have Mickey Waffles.

I want to say Cape May Cafe had them too, but I am not 100% sure of my memory.

The have them at the All Star food courts and the food court at CBR. When I stay at the All Stars, I know for sure that I will get my Mickey Waffle.

That same "warning" is in the Disney store catalog in reference to a door mat I wanted to buy.

Just remember the warning is from California. My Dh, who is a chemical engineer, jokes that CA has warning labels on their drinking water. They are very "warning label happy" (?).

I've lived in California all my life and I can tell you that the government is INSANE and people are sue happy! A lot of people think sueing some company is better than winning the lottery. The state would put labels on each and everything they could find if they could.

Its the teflon. Don't worry about it. I'd worry more about drinking Dasani water. Its bottled by Coca-Cola in Riverside (east of LA). Its just "purified" LA tap water.

The water is nasty, unhealthy, swill - the Mickey Waffle Maker is fine.
