We'll be at the Disneyland resort next month and staying at the Tropicana across the street ... where is the best place to get Mickey waffles without an ADR ? Do the resort hotels have any QS places that serve them ?

Mickey pancakes at the RiverBelle Terrace. That's what we normally get. That's a CS place, no reservations needed. I'm trying to think of other places but off the top of my head, that's where we go when we want a Mickey pancake. :)

I bought DH a Mickey waffle iron for Father's Day. It makes great butter milk waffles. So we can have Mickey for breakfast (or dinner) any time. I also have a smaller iron with all the disney gang.

White Water Snacks in the Grand Californian Hotel serves Mickey waffles. Flo's Cafe in the Carsland in DCA serves Lightning and Mater shaped waffles. It's on the kid's menu, but adults can order them too. Those are both counter service locations.

Carnation Cafe on Main Street in Disneyland and Minnie's Breakfast at Plaza Inn in Disneyland both also serve Mickey waffles, but you are right that those places are easier to get into with a dining reservation.

Awesome .. thanks ! :thumbsup2

I was beginning to get worried .. my little guy was looking forward to some while we are there and i hated to disappoint him !

Carnation Cafe had them last time we were there.

Also, DS loves the Mickey pancakes at Mimi's.

Where did you get it? I want one so bad.

Aloha,

What is the size of these waffles? Are they the hard circular waffles about 2-3 inches in width? Or are they like nice, thick wide (6-9 inch wide) Beligan waffles about an inch thick?

When I looked on allears, it seemed like the Whitewater Snacks location was the cheapest. Does anyone know why?

Large waffles:

Paradise Pier Hotel
Grand Californian - Storyteller's Cafe (NOT the buffet)
Carnation Cafe (adult meal)

Small waffles

Grand Californian - Storyteller's Cafe (buffet; they make it fresh for you, just ask the waiter)
Grand Californian - Whitewater Snacks - I think you only get 2 small waffles
Carnation Cafe (kid's meal) - only kid's get the drink, according to CM's there (years ago, an adult could order the kid's waffles & get the drink too!) - you get 2 or 3
Flo's (kid's meal - these are shaped with the Cars characters imprinted so they are round)
Plaza Inn - buffet - under a heat lamp - you get 2

Those are off the top of my head
