Mickey waffles?

I just noticed on the WDW facebook page is announcing a new waffle sandwich and someone said that the mickey waffle is no more, say it ain't so.

I know they still have them at Roaring Fork and Whispering Canyon Cafe. and they're chocolate chip.

It DOES mean that Mickey waffles are no longer served at Sleepy Hollow (the location where the waffle sandwiches are being served at MK).

They are still selling plain waffles there, but they are not shaped like Mickey.

So does anyone know what's on the waffle sandwich? Sounds interesting.

Honestly I can't place Sleepy Hollow - I'm sure it's in the Liberty Square area and no doubt, I've walked past it a million times - can someone 'remind' me where it is and tell me what they put in a waffle sandwich?

In the morning there is a prosciutto and egg with tomato waffle. For lunch there is Asian Fried Chicken and Nutella and fruit. Here is the WDW blog post.

Interesting. Because this post

has photos of the menu taken on 11/12. And there is no prosciutto and egg omelet sandwich listed. They have a second lunch sandwich - ham, prosciutto and Swiss cheese. No egg.

Guess they could have changed the menu since 11/12. But that is a very quick change.

Still have not seen any info on whether you can get these sandwiches as a DDP entree. I intend to get one myself but I won't be on DDP.

The Food Writer from the Parks blog seems to have a few discrepancies. Such as a few readers commenting and saying they were never available in Disneyland, or that they list another sandwich that's not really available (Prosciutto, Egg and Cheese). The Disney Food Blog has pictures of the menu (which listed the Prosciutto and Cheese), and it says they are not a snack credit.

They're definitely not a snack credit, but the jury is still out over whether or not they can be ordered as a DDP counter service entree.

My understanding was the big Mickey waffles are gone and you get 3 little ones instead. They are still tasty, but not as good IMO
