Has anyone ever done the Mickey Tye Dye at one of the resorts? Do the shirts come in adult sizes? How much does it cost? Do they turn out pretty good? Thanks
Yes we did them this past August at Wilderness Lodge it was so much fun for the kids and the rec dept. people running the activity couldn't be nicer. I think the shirts were $26 each. Pricey but worth it as my kids wear them a lot and they haven't faded one bit. My kids also had a ball making them. I actually left the shirts in the dye/ziploc bag for about 7 days before washing it to get vibrant colors. Here is what they looked like ; it was a nice memory and turned out to be a beautiful souviner that my kids love to wear ! Yes they come in adult and kids sizes. I think I bought a men's small for my 12 year old . Also note if it rains they just move where they do the shirts, just ask any of the rec people where they set up. Ours was supposed to be poolside but because of the rain they moved it to the entrance of the villas.
My daughters did them at the Beach Club last year. They turned out great and the cast members assisting packed the shirts up very well, so there was no issue getting them home. One of my favorite souvenirs!
One of our favorite activities - so much fun for all ages. Follow the instructions carefully for the best Mickey... if you’re sloppy with the colors, you can get more of a Mickey blob than Mickey head.

Thanks!! Although I can't take any credit as all I did was pay for the shirts, my 9 & 12 year old made them.
I kinda forgot about them in my suitcase - I had them all wrapped up with the dye on them in the Ziploc double bag, when I got home I unpacked and found them, so the shirts were sitting in the dye & wrapped up with the rubber bands for a solid week - the washing sheet they included said the longer you leave them in the bag before washing - the more vibrant the colors - and it seemed to work!
I plan to make them again this summer, its a great souvenir shirt!
