We will be visiting MK on a level 7 crowd day in February. A couple of questions about meeting Mickey...
1. We've got some time between our Tony's reservation (with VIP parade seating) and the parade so I was thinking we'd plan to meet Mickey around 2-2:15...What is the likelihood this would be available as a 4th fastpass that day? Or should I plan to book it as one of our intitial 3 FP's?
2. We are a group of 8- 4 kids 4 adults/ 2 families....will they allow us to do a few different photo arrangements (ie, one with just the kids, one with the whole group, one of each family group etc) or do we just get one shot with all of us?
Thanks in advance!

If meeting that Mickey is important to you, then I'd say to use one of your three FPs for it. When I went last year, I thought, "I bet I'm wasting a FP on meeting Mickey", but I was SO very glad that I FP-ed him. The standby line was huge. Not to say it would be for the OP....of course, no ones knows for sure...but if that's one of your priorities, use the FP.

It can be harder to get as a 4th FP especially if you want it at a certain time with a large party. It’s kind of out of the way so while I would normally not want to hold onto an FP that late in the afternoon in your case it might make sense. The other thing you could do is pre-book a 9!am FP for it and go on your way into the park. It’s not the greatest use of RD early morning time but if you’re going somewhere like Adventure or Frontier land it’s fine and reduces back tracking. It depends on how important it is to you. The FP to meet Mickey and Minnie in AK seems quite a bit easier to get so that could be an option as well.

Stby wait times in Town Square of 45 mins aren’t unusual.

You probably don't need a Fastpass. I was there the week of Christmas this year and the wait never seemed to be longer than 25 minutes.

It seems variable.
We were there in October on a Saturday. We were watching the fireworks from the hub. The park was open another 2 hours after. When the fireworks were done, we went to see Mickey. There were 2 people in line ahead of us! Nobody behind us. We were amazed. Lots of people leaving the park, nobody going to the M&G.
